Surprise Pediatric Dentistry video—Dr. Mathew Jensen, Surprise, Arizona
Director’s notes about Dr. Mathew Jensen at Surprise Pediatric Dentistry:
Dr. Jensen’s marketing director informed me before we filmed that Dr. Jensen would be a natural in front of the camera for his dental marketing video. She was so right. Watch the video and you’ll see he’s a natural while filming this video. He’s genuine, authentic, and friendly—all of the things that I’d mentioned ahead of time that are important when filming a dental marketing video that’s aimed at parents looking for a dental office for their kids. And I’d add that Dr. Jensen wasn’t acting—he’s really that way.
So how did Dr. Jensen and the team react when they saw this video? They emailed me the following, “Jeremy! We all LOVED it!! It’s perfect. Thank you for your excellent work!!”
One additional note that was kind of funny about this project is that Dr. Jensen had previously hired another videographer (one who does wedding videos but doesn’t know a molar from an incisor) to film his dental video. Dr. Jensen and the team were terribly disappointed. While they chalked it up to a “learning experience,” they never used the footage that videographer filmed for the dental office.
During the video shoot I had with them, they remarked that even the patients (many who were in the original video that wasn’t used) discreetly remarked, “Wow, this guy’s really legit!” Well, that’s nice to hear.
By the way, Dr. Jensen has one of the friendliest dental teams I’ve ever met. They get along well with each and seem to really love their patients.
About Surprise Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Mathew Jensen:
Dr. Mathew Jensen is originally from southeast Idaho. After serving an LDS Church mission to Alberta, Canada, Dr. Mathew Jensen moved to Provo, Utah, where he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. It was at BYU where he met his lovely wife Linda. They were married in Manti, Utah during his senior year. Following his studies, at BYU he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then returned to Utah where he attended a residency in General Dentistry at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Upon completion of his residency at the U of U, he then attended a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, New York. Following his residency, he opened a private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah where he practiced for 8 years.
Dr. Mathew Jensen loves treating children and teens and loves making a difference in their self-esteem through quality oral health care. Dr. Mathew Jensen and his wife Linda are the proud parents of four children: Anna, Elizabeth, Zachary and Nathan.
