Give Kids a Smile at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Mesa, Arizona

Director’s notes on filming a Give Kids a Smile dental video at ASDOH, Mesa, AZ:

Ah, as you’d guess, this was a fun one to film. As a staff member of the Arizona Dental Association, I’ve participated in several of these dental charity events throughout my career. Each year they seem to raise the bar and get more organized. Special thanks to all of the dentists who volunteer their skill and time to help these kids maintain bright, healthy smiles. I can’t forget to thank the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH), Mesa, AZ, and the dental students down there—they put on an incredibly fun event. I’ve never seen kids so excited to see a dentist. The creative direction was to put together something together that was upbeat and fun—something that showcased the spectacle/event as a whole rather than just the clinical portion of it.

This dental video won a grant from Phoenix Suns’ Charities

(See photo below) Congrats to the Arizona Dental Foundation (ADF) for receiving a charitable grant from Phoenix Suns’ Charities In October 2019. ADF submitted this Give Kids a Smile video I filmed at ASDOH, Mesa, AZ. The video submission won them the grant. I am honored the video helped ADF out, but I was hoping to see the Suns’ Gorilla mascot when they dropped off the check. Dang it!
